The discomfort is minimal and can be controlled usually with non-prescription pain medication although most patients don’t require it. While the treated area can remain pink or red for several weeks, we can show you how to apply concealing make-up during the second week so that the discoloration is not noticeable. We’ve found that skin treated with laser rejuvenation heals extremely well over time. It’s important to stay out of the sun for the first few weeks after your treatment.
